1. L - I too have pain when my husband and I have sex. I mentioned this to the doctor and he gave me a cream - prescript
ion - that I am to rube on "down there" once a day before going to bed. You just put a small bit of it around your vaginal
opening. For me - my husband drives a truck so I use it on the nights he isn't home and I know there will be no sex. I can really tell it works and I can tell when I haven't used it.
Also, if it really really bad you can always go to the ER - they can't turn anyone away, but the will send you a bill. It might be that you go after you have sex and tell them the pain is so bad it frightened you.....
2. I haven't had my period in 9 1/2 years due to my birth control! And I must say I love it! I was very anemic after my daughter was born so the dr thought it best that I did not loose blood each month. I do the Depo Shots. I have changed docs and my current doc is OK with it too.
