Cost of Humira in the new year

I just started Humira in December 08. I was informed the cost for the starter kit, followed by maintenance shots of 2 per month would be completely covered for 7 months using a co-pay card, then $50 per month for the remaining 5 months. I did the starter kit (6 shots), then come January the insurance changed to partial coverage of $325 per month, leaving me $390 per month. I'm not rich or poor, but this cost is too high! I have insurance through my employment, but a co-pay card is also required for this type of med. I've come up with the same cost pursuing this through two different co-pay cards. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Stef17, thanks for replying. Sounds like you're paying enough! I don't have a deductible, but my yearly cost would be $4800. Although Humira is working for me since I did the starter shots, I haven't decided to continue it yet. I'm also looking into Cimzia, to see if it's any cheaper. I'm still waiting for that info. I hope it's not another big number!
