Celey, you sound like my fiance...he transferred to my university from Missouri aka Misery(if that's what you mean..) and has had a lot of stories about it.

Yeah, that's what I mean all right... :)... But seriously, Missouri can be a very nice place to live.... I mean... We've got St. Louis..... famous city is always good (I don't like going there much myself, though... Some of the buildings there are real eyesores and even if it may not be the most crime-filled, it's still pretty high up there in crime incidents)... We've got the Ozarks! (Unfortunately I've never been there)...

Umm... We've got... err.... seasons? (Big whoop... It'll be the dead of winter and then all of a sudden it'll heat up to like 70 degrees..... and then the next day be freezing cold again...)

American expatriate, now permanently residing in Taidong, Taiwan. After 22 years in Taiwan, I went back to the USA two years ago, only to be shocked by the ridiculous health insurance situation. Now I'm back in this overcrowded but interesting country, and will probably never leave.

Thank you, the people of Taiwan, for the wonderful health care system you've created. And much more.

Celey-I bet it's actually a really beautiful place to live. My fiance just has nothing good to say about it because he was shot(twice) and stabbed in the arm there. That's also where he had some seriously bad girlfriends(one moved to a different state without telling him and got married to someone else two months later).
I think it sounds like you would have some better things to say about it, and that makes me glad :) Goodness knows you don't need anything else to bring you down.

gotcha...we're up in N. Phoenix off of Carefree Highway.  I went to ASU and lived in Tempe for years...

Why is it I can't hear the name Carefree Highway and not think of the Gordon Lightfoot song turn?

I lived pretty close to ASU, right at W Broadway and I think Hardy. Close enough to hear the roar from the football stadium. I was going to Collins College though.

cool.  we used to live right at 9th and Ash and then 4th and Roosevelt...fun neighborhoods when you're going to school.

We love it up North now...and you're right there is something to Carefree Hwy...
