Just wondering if anyone knows a site I can look up vitamin amounts. I have some minor hair loss from my meds and want to up my intake of vitamins and don't want to take too much. For example, I have been taking a 800mcg of Folic Acid. Can I take more than that? Also, I take biotin and B12 and I have a milti. Any advice would be great. Especially if you know if good vitamins or minerals to take for hair loss. I can't always eat all the veggies and fruits that give me the vitamins and minerals naturally. thanks! Karen

I don't know if it helps stop hair falling out, but Sea Kelp is meant to be good for hair growth. I'm taking it at the moment, but it can bring you out in spots but not always. Worth a try? I've not been taking it long enough to notice a difference yet, so can't tell you if it works, but have read alot from people who have used it saying it does.

Karen,
I take 5 MG a day of folic acid, but I think that is for those on MTX.

Hi Not2! I take a small amount of folic acid and that made a big difference in my hair loss. I noticed that taking my iron regularly also seemed to coordinate with the time my hair stopped shedding so much. My hair sheds mostly when I am good about
taking my Pentasa.

I will check for Zinc and iron, thanks both of you! Karen
