Anyone ever get LFT test adnormal for 8 tests in a role?

Hi Guy's,

I have now had my 8th lft test in 11 weeks and they have all come back adnormal. The hospital seems to think that it is down to the medication that I am on. However, my LFT was to pat before I started taking any form of medication for my crohns. Is it normal to have an adnormal LFT with crohns?

On a brighter note, I got my results for my degree and I have passed with honours at 2.2. YEAH for me! Whats even bette about it is the fact that I did it through the open uni with no ones help and not one extension due to my ilness or work!

There are several extraintestinal manifestations of Crohn's that can effect the liver, pancreas and gall bladder. If you scroll down the page at the following site, you can read the list associated with CD:

If your LFTs are continuously elevated, I would think that your doctor would want to get to the root of the problem. It seems like 8 tests in eleven weeks, all abnormal, warrants some investigation at this point.
