Rash?

my daughter thinks she has eczema, she has spots on her back, belly and legs.  now there is a rash where the small patch of eczema was on her leg. Could this be related to Crohn's?

Check with your doc. I have had many skin rashes and was told all different things that caused them.
1) The one you are describing sounds like one I had afew years ago that was blamed on a virus (CMV)---I had to do two weeks of prednisone to kill it out of me.
2) Did the blotches start with one blotch on her chest??? That was a different virus many years ago---I forget the name (started with a T???)but I tookan antifungal for that one
3) Are they raised small welts - I had that and it was dx'd as fifth disease. That one we just let run it's course and I have had it twice.
4) I constantly am getting small blotches that are red and itchy, that turn to dry scaly smallpatches. (psoriasis maybe)
Blood work always show some kind of virus, but no one can explain why I keep getting them. Another thing that makes me think my autoimmune system is whacked out!

My daughter has been to the gastro dr and dermatologist for psoriasis related to Crohn's disease.  She has it in her hair, behind her ears, on her legs, back and arms.  Little spots popping up everywhere.  They gave her cream to use and told her to shampoo with Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo.  (get the one with conditioner. it doesn't stink as bad)
