hspenser, Cimzia is going to be more like Humira in terms of convenience, etc. I personally would never go back to Remicade, even if I could, but I know there are some people who would much rather have an IV than a shot, so it's a matter of preference. I know my insurance treats Cimzia and Humira the same, as far as I have to pay a co-pay and it's treated as a medication. Back when I was on Remicade, they billed it through insurance like a procedure and I had to pay my co-insurance until I hit my out-of-pocket max for the year. I think a lot of doctors used to prefer to try Remicade before the others, but if you've already been on Humira and your doctor doesn't have a preference, then it's really up to you. Cimzia and Humira are going to have more of the same side effects (injection site
reaction was my worst one vs the bad allergic reactions I had to Remicade). But, it's really just a matter of personal preference and financial differences. Good luck!
