Try cutting out as much starch as you can stand giving up and no sugars. Also if you can do some physical activity it helps. Not enough sleep is known to inhibit weight loss so get good sleeps. Then I started to feel better and I found I had upped my calories as I could eat more junk food, which I know better than to do, but felt so deprived for so long went crazy. Gained ten pounds and barely realized it. Now I am slowly trying to get it off. Don't know about those drugs and weight gain I have been allergic to everyone of them but the Pentasa. I've started to wonder the same thing myself. I had 3 weeks of constant D, and didn't lose a single pound. I figured at least I'd have something good come of it, but no! I seem to eat less than I used to, but a couple pounds jump on board here and there. I didn't know if it was age catching up to me, or the meds.
