OT, had to share

 My wife will be a model this weekend at a spring fashion review. The models will all be breast cancer survivors. She has been through such H#!! these past years. She gets to have her hair done and her makeup .Yesterday they had her try on many different outfits until they chose the one she will wear.

You can bet I'll be a proud husband in they audience...

I think it is so great that you support your wife so wonderfully and are so proud of her. I hope you tell her everyday!! Hope she feels like the queen of the universe in her outfit!!!

That's great. A little pampering never hurt anyone. You be sure to cheer louder than you ever have. I want to be able to hear you all the way up here north of the Mason Dixon Line!!!

She had a great time guys. They did her hair and nails, makeup and gave her lots of gifts. There were door prizes and while she was changing for the show I won a makeup kit. Sense it was not my brand, I gave it to her when she was trough on stage and she said she was very interested in that brand but it was too expensive. I think it was about $170 worth of makeup. Wow and I thought Harley stuff was expensive. I was one of the few men there so I began to feel like Custer, but the other ladies at our table made me feel welcome. Even got a big hug and a thanks for the support from the nurse that gives my wife chemo . When we got home my wife told me some of the conditions other women there were in and we both counted our blessings. The youngest one there was a girl of about 11 years. Things were really bad for her and everyone did all they could to make it a wonderful experience for her . They even gave her best friend the same treatment and they modeled their dresses together on stage. After that her dad danced with her. Not too many dry eyes in the house for a while. All in all it was a great night.

   I'm glad to hear of your wifes glory. A great day in the middle of all the struggles, so glad to hear this. I bet she was just beautiful, and yes we expect pics! I've been away for a few days. I've missed you guys. I've spent the last week trying to get a friend to medical help. She finally gave in and went to the ER. They put her on a bi-pap and she is much better today, now they are trying to get the swelling down. When I put the pulse-ox on her finger last week, she was running 60%, even less when she slept. We are a stubbern lot, us humans.
