I have started getting my menstrual cycle every 2 weeks, I am 42yrs old...Is this the start of

menopause?...Anybody else have this?....Now I have cramps every 2 weeks , instead of every

month....and the crohn's pain, It is just draining me...

Carmen,
I would suggest seeing your GYN I have had weird bleeding with IBD, but to be on the safe side please do see your doc.

I now get mine every 2-3 weeks and it is quite painful....My gyn said he would do a hyster. whenever I'm ready. I'm going to wait until I can't stand it anymore. But I feel like I have mini flares every time.

I had a laproscopic hyst. It was practically painless. It was amazing. I had adhesion lysis at the same time. I could feel THAT, but I joked they could have taken my organs for the hyst and not told me, and I would never have known -- that's how little I felt.

I highly recommend a laproscopic hysterectomy if you ever need to get one, sooooooooooo much easier. Any more info, feel free to ask!

I'm 41 and my periods are getting closer and closer together...my doc said it's from the crohn's and my thyroid problem...it sucks being a woman!
