I tried my best to take appt from my Dr. this week it was impossible they told me they are going to do colposcopy and then start treatment.I have heard that Once we exposed to HPV, we will have it in our body forever. Is there away to get rid of this virus forever and not have it in our body? Most women get abdnormal paps mere even after they get treated from HPV. So I might get it back years later after the Dr. treats me on monday.
That's true, you do have it in your body forever and the thing is that a lot of people aren't aware that HPV also causes breast cancer, so keep that in mind too.
There are different types of HPV and they say 80% of the world population has been in contact with it. Men are mostly the carriers of this virus so if you've ever been diagnosed with it you need to make your boyfriend/husband/lover get tested and treated for it. The funny thing is that sometimes it's really hard to discover it in men so if the test gets back negative, do it again in a couple of months or weeks or whatever because if you have it, they have it 100%...
Another thing that's really bad about HPV is that it has even been found in women who have never had sex. So keep in mind that whenever you're in a hotel you can get it if you don't disinfect the whole shower cabin, and it'd be good if you did it in your own home too, before and after taking a shower because if you have it, your kids can get it too if they for example take baths and the tub hasn't been disinfected first.
A lot of women get in touch with this virus but nothing happens to them because their immune system protects them but when their immune system gets so to say a little shaken by a stressful situation or something like that, the number of the virus (did I say this right?) starts multiplying and then they develop a cancer. Us Crohnies have to be careful because we're on immunosuppression.
It's also important to say that when you get rid of the warts you still have the virus and the warts come back every once in a while. A lot of gynecologists treat their patients with Podophilin. So maybe you could try that? It's pretty expensive but effective. You should do the HPV test of your vagina, so inside and out to make sure you won't get cervical cancer. And
**I edited out that part a we are not Professionals and I also did not find anything that states that this is fact**...........LYN

Ladies, make your husbands/boyfriends/lovers wash their hand before going to the bathroom because they put a lot of bacteria/viruses on them by not doing so...and then that give them to you. It does nothing to them, but it sure gives women a lot of problems. Another lovely thing is that they can have anything and I mean anything, from HPV to streptococcus B on their penis, in their sperm, on their balls and on their leg hairs...isn't that something? Make your men get tested...they ALWAYS carry something on them. Always. Scientifically proved.
I'm scared of HPV as heck...I really am.
** All sexes should be washing hands not just the men IMHO**
