Until I cut gluten out of my diet, it took me 24 hours to recover from a 400 yard walk to the post office. A week later, I had twice the energy, and my stomach problems had abated (somewhat). Since then, every time I have gluten, I know about
it. It is just poison to me.
I'll say one thing about
being on a dairy-free and gluten-free diet - it fairly makes it easier to cut out unhealthy food, because virtually all commercially processed food is off the menu. I look at most people's mass produced foodstuffs diet, and I think, "How unhealthy that is ! How can they eat that sugary fatty cr@p !"
