feeling crappy...and now a kidney stone to boot!!

so...i've been feeling pretty bad for quite a while now...lost a bunch of weight, had to lower my 6-mp dose due to liver toxicity...new bleeding and bad stomach pain- yes it's been wonderful!  then Thursday I began to feel the (becoming too) familiar stabbing in my right side/back.  it kept getting worse and i ended up in the er on morphine.  great.  a 4 mm stone and there are more hanging out in my kidney!  sweet!  something to look forward to! 

so since Thrsday I haven't done much...sometimes it's hard to tell whether the pain is from my gut or the stone.  yes i still have not passed it.  and to boot i forgot my percocet at home today!!  work was horrible!

oh well just had to vent.  hope everyone has a lovely evening!!!

oh man i hope it moves out fast..i like to jump on my bike and just ride and ride....last one i had they found and they tubed the wang. Next day they look and it magically disappeared. So I was tubed for nothing. He swears it was there but I know better lol. Good luck man.

crap i hope it doesn't come to that! the last two i had i passed almost immedietly...this one is hanging around...i've had about 32 gallons of water to drink in my futile attempt...

Ugh I know how you feel... I had a kidney stone last month, was waiting for it to pass, and it got too painful and I was vomiting a lot and dehydrated so I had to be admitted into the hospital. Well after 5 days of them pumping fluids through the IV and constant pain and anti nausea meds, it was still stuck and I had to have surgery to remove it. Woke up too early from the surgery because the anesthesiologist was a jacka** and was in the worst pain ever from the stent they had placed. They had to give me something like 50 mg morphine, 6 mg dilaudid, demerol, etc. and I was still wide awake. Long story short, another dr. told me I was crazy for having too much pain from the stent, took me off the iv pain meds and onto an anti-anxiety drug. That night was terrible too. The next morning my urologist decided to remove my stent early, and voila, after that surgery I was mysteriously pain free! So it wasn't all in my head. I have 3 in my kidneys right now too. Sorry for rambling on, hope yours passes ASAP!

The one stone I had apparently dissolved internally. I was advised to drink lots of lemonade -- the acids can help break down some types of stones. Plus it tastes a bit better than plain water.

I had one while pregnant that was lodged just outside of the kidney. Could't remove due to baby and so had to have stent put in and wait 4 months for delivery before getting it blasted out. I think I liked labor better. ugh.

ugh i love horror stories! sorry for those experiences! this sucker's still with me...pain comes and goes...the percocets do nothing except take the edge off...if it doesn't pass in a couple more days then off to the doc i guess...

woo hoo!!!!!!!!! it's out! and it was huge! 6 days of misery are over!
