Humira injection question

about the last 3 times that I have given myself my Humira injections (I use the pen) I have watched the little green thing go all the way down so that I know that the injection of the medication is done. When I remove the pen from the site I have liquid (I'm assuming the medicine) leak out of my leg.

Anyone else have this problem and anyone know how to fix it?

It happens sometimes. I noticed I was squeezing too hard and that once I was able to perfect taking out the pen while simultaneously relaxing the squeeze I was losing a whole lot less blood and medicine.

I don't squeeze hard at all. Just enough to make a small platform to do the injection. I've never noticed anything leaking out after.

I use a syringe and noticed the leaking happen to me once. Since then I keep the syringe in a place for about 10 seconds after I've injected all the medicine, giving it a little more time to get absorbed. It seems to have worked, I haven't leaked since! :-)
