I wanted to know if anyone has experienced any problems with sex and getting in the mood. I've noticed that my sexual appetite has gone down maybe it's all in the head idk . Well thanks you guys are alot of help

I think it's very hard to get in the mood when your gut is all wrenched up, your joints may ache and your are fatigued all of the time. You are not alone.

I agree with jhicks, when you are feeling crappy (no pun intended) the last thing you are interested in is sex. My gut is in remission right now, but I still suffer with alot of joint pain and fatigue, so that affects me alot in the sex dept. Luckily I have a very understanding husband:)

Hi yes i know exactly where your coming from!I also have a temp stoma which i hate but like Nanners i have a VERY understanding hubby ,bless him Bev x smilewinkgrin

My girl is let's put this in a good way she likes to be satisfied LOL but I'm never in the mood she understands but she still needs lovin LOL

SEX is the last thing on my mind when I feel like crap you know well my husband is understanding to a point but there is more to sex then sex there is sensual touching hugging cuddling so give one of them a try everyone here is in the same boat as you are don't feel bad your sex life will pick up when you feel better.Jenn redface

Crohn's has definitely helped to push our sex life into deep background (after 39 years of marriage). I don't feel romantic when I've been running to the bathroom all day, and I can't really relax until I've had a warm bath to deal with my chronic, incurable fissure. By the time I've done all that, my husband's fast asleep. I definitely don't feel romantic when my stomach is growling and gurgling and gassy. My joints hurt, my head hurts, and, since I went on 6MP six years ago, I've had breast soreness that makes me feel as if I'm perpetually premenstrual. So, as far as cuddling goes, there are plenty of places I just don't want touched. And morning's are my worst time, so sex in the morning is great for him and a mind-over-matter sphincter control game for me! (Sorry, I know that's graphic.) Crohn's isn't the only factor in our diminishing intimacy, but it's a big factor. I'm sure that those of you who are younger are probably more motivated to make things work out.

I have not had much of it since I got sick in October, and my hubby is a lacy guy so it is okey with him hehe..

But I cant wait to get back to my old self.. CD affects your sex life in so many ways that it is not weird that we are not as active as normal people.
But we cant forget out partners and we have to take care of them as much as we can :)

My GI always ask me about my sex life, so I think It is normal that it changes.
