I hate clothes

Two years ago, after a year of trying to put on weight & get over 100 lbs, I gave up & cried as I gave away all of my "normal" sized clothes & started shopping in the children's department. Fast forward 2 years of Humira/Remicade/Prednisone/Entecort/etc etc etc. Today I got my first pair of size 10 pants in the mail & packed up everything under that for Goodwill again. Sigh. I need a bigger closet.

I agree size 10-26 here.

 ood Evening Xraygirl I hear what your saying I to have a huge assortment of clothes ranging from size-2 to 12 top that I think all Crohn's patients secretly want to be thin at first I would get so frustrated and give all my old barely worn clothes to my niece who's mom couldn't afford than I would get sick again and the clothes would have fit,so now  I have my little girl clothes fro the super skinny and my IV steroids clothes fro when I'm busting and my fat clothes when nothing fits except baggy clothes but its nice to have a variety.I just recently went to sears and racked up my car almost $500 cause I figured this size I have been since a while there 4 I wanted something in style and something that fit me verses looking like the bag lady with dread locks!!!!lol So I say treat yourself to some new ones that make u feel good if money is tight they have a lot of nice used clothes at the second hand stores and that way its not a huge waste of money if u out grow them but keep all your classic pieces they never go out of style like dress jackets,dresses,skirts,shoes(Cause every women loves her shoes) u can just pick up a few blouses and some cool Tee's maybe a skort and a couple of skirts.Have fun shopping I'm going on Thursday they have great deals on at Sears every Thursday so have fun I'll be thinking of ya!Jenn AKA (SHOP-AHOLIC)

Funny thing is my shoe size has changed as well. 8 1/2 to a ten

I can relate I have always been a small build and gained some weight while being on large doses of pred i gained 2 sizes but not only have i had to buy bigger clothes than normal I now have to completely change the type of clothes I used to wear due to now having a bag attached to me. Its so frustrating and an expensive exercise! Will it ever end?

I feel for ya. I range between 135 and 150. In january all my clothes were falling off of me and now they are getting tight again. I had just gotten rid of all my skinny clothes when i got sick again. What bad timing. Lol.

We could all save a lot of money and join a nudist colony, LOL!!!

I'm right there with you all.  before I got married, my three bedroom house was perfect.  One closet of big clothes, one rooms closet was smaller (I have never been small) clothes and the third bedrrom closet was dress clothes in all sorts of sizes.  Now I have to share my closets with my husband who does not believe in folding clothes--he hangs everything.  Now looking for a four bedroom house.  The fourth room will just be one big closet!

I'm still trying to get the jeans people to stop putting lycra in the pants.  It's bad enough I own several sizes, but when one pair changes sizes as I wear it urgghhhhh.  I'm sorry they do not go back to shape after I bloat!

Me too, me too. I HATE clothes right now. It seems like I change sizes with the seasons and when I get back to an old size the clothes are all out of date. I've started trying to buy mostly inexpensive things (Target, Old Navy, HM) with a few special splurges to make me feel better. I figure the cheap stuff will wear out right around the time I change sizes. I do hate only having 3 outfits at a time though.

Ditto - even w/o flares and steroids I alternate with three sizes depending on my level of bloat. So frustrating. I have 3-10 in my closet and don't plan on getting rid of any. It is a constant debate with hubby. "I have nothing to wear." "what about this?" "It doesn't fit." "So get rid of it." "I can't." "Why." "It will fit tomorrow." And so it goes.

I'm all about the sweat pants!! Elastic waist, pletny of give and take!

Seriously though, we shoudl organize some kind of online clothes swapping system so everyone could share all the various clothes that don't fit anymore and swap with some someone who needs that size and wants something new!

 I guess we all have a few skeletons in our closets,I went to Walmart today got these cube box sets u Velcro them on the clothes bar and they have 6 big sized cube shelves I got about 6 pairs of jeans on each shelf so I got it all in sizes now its a lot easier now instead of getting in that closet and searching 4 something to fit,it gave me a lot of free space in my closet also got a sweater cube shelf with 10 pockets so now there organized by color size and season and I got 2 shoe racks which go over the rod also it frees up much needed floor space each bag holds 10 pairs of shoes there great and there made by a company called Neat Freak and the big 1 with 6 shelves was only $9 dollars and the shoe rack was $7 so for $25 bucks u can free up closet space plus have a spot 4 everything 4 your skinny clothes and your fat clothes,just thought I would share that with u I know every woman is looking 4 more storage and this is a great solution I was able to throw away 53 hangers,I keep all my clothes now cause I know my weight fluctuates so much and its to expensive to run out and buy new clothes 4 steroids and 4 extreme weight lose.I hope that was a good tip 4 the people with little space and mountains of clothes.Jenn

I ran into that alot, and my waist measurement could vary so much by what I ate.
