Stadol

Just wondering if anyone has ever been given Stadol in the hospital and/or ER.  I was given this pain medicatino on my ER visit in January of this year.  I got so messed up and sick that I almost threw up at the pharmacy afterwards trying to fill my scripts.  When I visited again last week for pain and bleeding, I didn't want to sound demanding, but I made it clear that I absolutely could NOT have this to help my pain.  They ended up giving me Dilaudid, which was fine, but I was just curious if anyone else has had issues w/this particular med.

Took Stadol for years for miserable migraines. It's a nasty nasal spray that I took when I was in the throes of a migraine. It is quickly addictive and very difficult to come off of. I had to use it sparingly to get off it. It can make one sicker if you haven't been on it, but on the other hand, it was a wonderful medicine for painful migraines.
