Hi everyone.
It's been a while since I've posted. I've been busy with work, but also feeling so much better. The Imuran seems to be doing wonders for me. Plus, my doctor prescribed me Hylomax for when it feels like I am having an IBS attack and it's my new lifesaver.
For the past two months, I have had pain in my left lower rib cage. about 3 months ago, I was diagnosed with pleurisy (an inflammation of the lung lining), which is a condition that people with auto-immune disorders often get. I was treated for it and I have no cough, trouble breathing and the pain is much better.
However, there is still pain there. I have a constant tight feeling like someone is pressing down on my lung in a particular area, and even advil doesn't get rid of this feeling. Then, if I sneeze, do sit ups or anything athletic, the pain is very intense and radiates up.
I am going for a Cat Scan on Monday b/c my doc said this does not sound typical for pleurisy. I know Imuran can impact the pancreas, and I have not had blood work in the past 3 months. My question is, for those of you who had Imuran or 6MP impact your pancreas, was the pain intense all of the time or was it anything like I am explaining? I guess I'll find out what this is soon, but I can't help but be slightly nervous.
Thanks!
