anyone on both 6mp and methotrexate to try and deal with the arthritis??

I know the pain your having. I went through the same thing caused by remicade. I feel your pain.

However the doctor took me off remicade put me on humira and back on imuran. The arthritis pain is all gone. Though i was in the hospital for 2 days last week, so I didn't take imuran (6mp) for 3 days and the arthritis came back with a angry.

I've yet to hear someone taking both MTX and Imuran. I suggest doing some research see if other's have. If you still don't feel comfertable enough speak with your family doc, or get a second opion. It's very important your comfertable with what your doing and taking.

I take Humira and Methotrexate. There are quite a few people around here that take two biologics.

I do not have a family, But I have heard of any problems with trying to have a baby with one. But I'm a guy. Ive been on the combo of humira and methotrexate for about 2 years or 2 and a half years. At first I had headaches when I'd get my methotrexate but I got a script for fioricet, the fioricet without codiene even and it worked perfect for my headache. Thats the only side effects I had. I even got it in my drs office the first two times and the frist I stayed afterwards for an hour, and the second time I stayed for 30 minutes, just to see if anything came up, but it never did.
