Accomplishment...

This morning I woke up feeling absolutely horrible, had to use the restroom several times or every time I moved it felt like, and couldn't get anything down except for the first ensure I've been desperate enough to drink in a long time.
Even better is that I had work at a new job an hour after I woke up. You don't sit down, you don't get to run to the bathroom whenever you need to, and there is ALWAYS something to be done.

BUT!!

I don't know what happened afterward. I worked almost ten hours today, no BM's, and I didn't pass out from lack of energy.
I don't know where it came from, but I'm really glad I made it through...It was a complete 180 from how I felt this morning. I'm still afraid that things might be trying to flare up so I'm going to need to be more careful..but at least I know the ability to do it is there.

Anyway, just wanted to share. Am hoping maybe other people have good stories to give as well?

I agree w/ ISF - you could have been sick from pre-job nerves. Congrats on finding work though. Without "outing" yourself can you say what line of work you are in? If you think part of it is the "what ifs" and jitters, I suggest taking a couple immodium before work for a couple days.

First off, that's kind of funny, my 2nd job (part-time) is at Roberts Crafts.  Joann's is a competitor of ours.  Not sure why that struck me as funny, but it did.

Have you ever tried Levsin or Hyomax?  When I'm out shopping, I put a Levsin under my tongue and it usually keeps my bowels calmed down enough to get through the store.
