Pain mgmt and Humira approval help

I was on Remicade from August of 08 till April of 09. It worked wonderfully at first but quickly lost its punch so I was taken off of it and told to try to get an approval for Humira. I went through the financial help application with Humira and they came back and said I would have to pay the first $4500 and then they could offer me Humira very cheap. I don't have $450 let alone $4500 so Ive been enduring severe arthritis (literally housebound) and mild belly problems ever since. I am on SS Disalbility and Medicare. Does anyone know if medicare will help with the initial $4500. Also about pain management for the arthritis. Against all common sense I have been taking Aleve for pain. Its the only way I can get through the day without considering suicide...sort of kidding but.... Anyway, does anyone know of something I can take besides Aleve to combat this unbearable pain. Most days my wrists and fingers are useless from the pain. It truly feels like my hands have been crushed and anytime I try to use them it sends me through the roof. I would appreciate any helpful feedback. Tony
