Time of day for Entocort?

Well I would try taking it at night then and see if it helps. Entocort being a steroid could cause some insomnia thats why its usually recommended to take first thing in the morning. Are you taking it with food? If not, you might want to try to taking it with food and see if that helps any.

I notice that you are taking asacol.  Some years ago when I was on that drug I was living with some moderate to severe joint pains.  I used to have to walk down  stairs backwards, lift my leg with my hands in order to get into the car, and be helped out of a chair.  I haven't had those issues since I stopped taking the drug.  Just thought I'd  mention it in case it could pertain to your joint pains.   I'm a bit paranoid about drugs---I've had so many side effects.

I always take mine all at once in the morning, but I've never experimented. It would probably be best if you asked your pharmacist or doctor, but I don't think it would matter all that much.

Entocort is supposed to be taken in the morning because of timing that coincides with your body's biorhythms, for instance, when it produces cortisol:

"If you are only taking budesonide (Entocort EC®) once a day, take it in the morning, which is the time your body normally secretes cortisol. Take your doses at regular intervals."
