Anyone else on immunosuppressants tired of getting sick?  I currently have some kind of upper respiratory infection, my 5th infection since April when I started Humira.  I know it's better than the alternative, but it seems that every month I've got a sinus infection or bronchitis or conjunctivitis or  something .  It'd be different if I were in remission, but I'm definitely not.  I plan on talking to my doctor to see if he thinks it's excessive, but mainly I'm just frustrated.   Anyway... just needed to vent

Yep,,,ain't it a beach.. I have had good results with hand sanitizer. They come in little spritzer bottles and are easy to use. I make an effort to never touch my eyes or face without very clean hands. I stay away from crowds ,,,especially children with runny noses. It has just become second nature to me now to wash my hands all the time and it has helped me avoid lots of common colds . Hope this helps you some too.

Thanks, Sniper. I like to think I'm a pretty clean person, but I know that I don't put as much of an effort into keeping the germs out as I probably should. I'll try to get into the habit of keeping hand sanitizer with me wherever I go and washing my hands often.
