My Xbox just came back from repairs a couple days ago (it had the red ring of death), AND I just found the Guitar Hero World Tour bundle on sale for $69.99 (I guess they needed to make room for Rock Band Beatles). Playing fake plastic instruments should keep me busy :-)

I haven't been on here for a couple of days, and I come back to see this...good grief! Best of luck to you!! I'm sure you'll be fine though...you seem pretty tough.
And yes, the red ring of death is pretty irritating, but the new models have made it nearly obsolete :) Hurray for new motherboards...Katamari Damacy is pretty fun when you can't walk around...

Hmmm...I don't know that I consider myself tough smilewinkgrin. I sure hope I will be though! I'm a little concerned about having no ileocecal valve, but it sounds like a lot of people adjust okay.

I think my RROD was caused by a bad power supply rather than the actual console. Too bad they made me send it in anyway, because you don't get your original console back. They just grab one from the pile of fixed consoles and mail it to you. And since I'm anal retentive, I'm a bit irritated at some of the cosmetic damage on the faceplate and case mad.

I love the Katamari games too!

I am sure you will do fine Spooky. I think most don't have problems with the missing TI valve, it seems as if it is the few who suffer with chronic D afterwards, not the majority. Please do keep us posted on your recovery. Giant Hugs!
