It's me complaining again :)
In all seriousness though, I am getting a procedure done tomorrow, and I am afraid. I have a feeling that we're not allowed to mention so I'll keep from it, but those of you who were in on that big argument a while back know what's going.
Just please, I really need the support right now. As usual none of my friends are around when I actually need them. They seem to stick like glue when they need something though. Just charming, isn't it?
Here is to a safe procedure and a speedy recovery. I'll be back in tomorrow evening or Sunday to update if anyone is interested.

(((LMills))) I think it was going to be a hard and horrible time, no matter what you decided to do. Hang in there.

I hope the procedure goes well, and there are no issues. It's going to be rough as ivy said, but it'll get better. (((Hugs))). Sending positive vibes your way . . .

Hey everyone, I got back a few hours ago and have been resting. We had to be there at 8, and it was rainy so I thought 'surely there won't be protesters early on a rainy Saturday morning.' Was I ever wrong hah. A lot of condemnation, fire, and brimstone...and there were so many women in the clinic waiting with me. I was taken aback really...but the nurses were so kind, and the doctor was really gentle and sweet. I imagine it must be difficult to have his job when that area of his profession is in such a legal gray area.
They sent me home with the BC pills I had taken before and hydrocodone.
I was fine until I got into the car with my boyfriend...had a good cry for about
half an hour and then nearly knocked out because of the valium. He bought a giant stuffed white tiger for me.. That is the first present I have ever gotten for having a medical procedure done.
The procedure itself was uncomfortable, but it lasted literally less than two minutes. I'm all right at the moment. They said I would have cramps for a while, but my heating pad is helping. I suppose it's just bed rest and reading for this Saturday.
I really want to thank all of you for your support. Looking at the other women I felt sad because so many had come alone...Your kind words really helped me through all of this.
I know it was the right thing to do, and I have no doubts or regrets other than what human nature might force in every now and again. It's a life experience I'll have learned from.
And you know, I have to add, all of my friends have gone to who knows where, but my boyfriend has been a constant support...and so have all of you. I hope you realize how grateful I am that you guys are here.

I am so glad you are doing better. You do not walk alone here, well at least metaphorically. :)

Hey, glad to hear all went well. Hope the rest of your weekend is calming and restful. All we can do is make the best choices we can based on our situations and circumstances. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I picked up on what you are talking about
. I don't know the reasoning why...but having had to make incredibly difficult decisions while in that condition is very overwhelming and difficult. Rest up..and take care..
