Hi! Welcome!
I am sorry you are not feeling well.
My 12 year old daughter is on enteral nutrition. It stopped the flare up in its track in less than a week. You might want to talk about it with your GI and parents. I got all the info from a book called Beat Crohn's! Getting to Remission with Enteral Nutrition by Margaret A. Oppenheimer.
I borrowed it from the library.
Basically it is drinking a formula (Peptamen, Vital,) as your only nutrition for a period of time.
I hope this info helps.
Wishes of health and happyness

I voted in your poll for the heating pad on your stomach. I am actually a little dependent on mine as it works best when my stomach is feeling bad. Good luck!

c,
Do whatever works for you the best. I use all of these plus hot blankets, hot jello, rice bags, soups, etc. just whatever works on that day. I think I am going to order a catnapper with heat and message next.

I think it's different for everyone, but I think ginger ale would probably make it worse because of the carbonation. Heating pads work a bit for me, but the best for me has always been a hot shower. It works for me better than a hot bath because of the water hitting me, sort of like a massage I guess haha. Depending on the time of pain, I also tend to press on the area that hurts to relieve it a bit, but I'm not sure if this works for anyone else, lol.
