not trying to fight with you...or whose info is right..only speaking on behalf of my experience..just trying to be positive on a board..that has alot of negative and sad experiences..right...we blog about our troubles..but do we ever tell..when we are well?
Well, I hope you're not under the impression that I want to fight/argue cuz I don't, I just don't want others to feel like getting them removed while in a flare is no big deal (and when I had posted alink about it a little while ago you sure did seem to be offended and stated that I was trying to scare people when that wasn't my intentions at all, I was making people aware of what research said about perianal crohn's skin tags) when from my own experiance I've heard nothing but the opposite...man I wish it was no big deal and if for you it turns out not to be then you're very lucky cuz from all that I've heard and read it's more common for it to be a mistake than a good thing.
That's why everytime I see my GI I bring it up only to hear the same thing "leave well enough alone" and I always tell him that I'm hoping that a safe way will be found to deal with mine and that's why I'm always asking, he says when he hears of something he'll let me know.
I'll read the link you posted.
I wasn't offended..i was scared..i thought it was hopeless to have it removed...and you were telling people straight up don't do it...i almost canceled my surgery altogether because i was so afraid..but i am so glad i went through with it and at least gave it a try...even if i have a big wound...i am dealing with it..its ugly it hurts..but its not so bad..or they wouldn't let me pack it myself or go home..in this state..they would keep me in the hospital..and i truly did clean the house the next day
