I was at the CCFA patient IBD conference in NY yesterday, and someone asked a similar question of a very reputable IBD specialist. If i remember correctly, she said that Cimzia was the safest anti-tnf(a), because the size of the molecule was larger than in remicade (and possibly in humira, i don't recall that latter part). As to breastfeeding, I think she said anti-tnf(a) OK, but that if preferable, they try to stop 6mp and aza during breastfeeding (not pregnancy), but that you can measure the amount of it that seeps into the breastmilk and make a judgment then.
