Who is eating today ?? Not me!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! I started to flare yesterday, home sick yesterday, terrible tummy pains, throwing up, fever.. my usual flare symptoms.. lasted 12 hours. Today I feel good but I will stick to a liquid diet today ... Boooo and its Thanksgiving!! Anyone else in my boat? Have a great day if you are eating or not !!!

I'm not a doctor but that sounds like gall bladder to me. In any event I am sorry you are ill. Hope you will be on track for the December holidays.

I had the pain of gall bladder over many years and did not know what it was. Always went away in a few hours. It wasn't until I had an acute episode with fever and on the floor pain that I went to the ER and was diagnosed.

Thanks for the info and well wishes.  Those are my flare symptoms.  When I was first went to the hospital 4 yrs ago and was diagnosed they thought it was my gall bladder. But nope those have proven to be my flare symptoms over the years. They are the exact same every time, like clockwork. I had a nice day despite not eating, i stuck to juice and broth for dinner.. yummy yummy ha!... Hope u all had a nice day!

How are you feeling today? i hope your flare doesnt last too long. I had the flu during Thanksgiving. so we didnt have turkey dinner, either. Feel better soon.

The day before Thanksgiving, I woke up with awful pain. Usually 1/2 a loritab helps but I had to take another 1/2 when the first 1/2 didn't work. So, the pain went away but I was awfully nauseous all day. I had to keep eating soda crackers all day. Then on Thanksgiving, I was nauseous at noon but ok to eat way too much later on that night. I was so happy to not be sick for 3 whole days and to enjoy life for a change.  It was good to get away and have a break. I was sick all last December on through February. With IBD, it is one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time. Now, it is back to the real world with my ct scan and scope following in a week. I am dreading it a bit, but I am getting used to all these procedures.
