first trip to mexico on humira...

well i just got back from my first trip to mexico while on humira...i will have to say it was a bit of a challenge and for the first time i really noticed the effects of humira on my immune system...i really did have to be careful where i ate and what i ate and drank because just the local flora disrupted me and put my body in a state of alarm...i managed and had a great time...but did have  a few morning bouts of D and another night of just constipation...I stayed on my metamucil and drank a lot of bottled water and I got through it...I also ran a low grade fever for a few days but it was low grade and Im not sure if I was exposed to something or if it was a reaction to being bit by an insect which happened on my leg...4 bites to be exact...I first thought they were mosquito or sand flea bites but they happened on Sunday and today Thursday they are purple bruises...they dont itch as much but they are soar...anyhow...I have been to Mexico 4 times and this trip was deffinitley a bit of a challenge..

That is what my thoughts are Undone! That their germs are foreign and my body just went into high alert! They actually arent itiching anymore and the bruises arent as sore.

I was in Puerto Vallarta and I went Scuba diving!

I understand JavaJAy, but if I live in fear of "LIVING" then Crohns wins...if this is the only life I get then I have to make it count! No regrets and no Crohns holding me back...
