I know it never really left but I like to live in denial occasionally! I just got home from the hospital, 9 days of morphine bliss!

Been decided that I have a hernia around my stoma. Did a scope while there and I have an good size ulcer going into the stoma needs to be removed and stoma revission. ( or reversal. not sure if still an option)

I would like the surgery done asap, deductable is filled for this year and seems senseless to payanother 2,000 out of pocket if we are talking a couple weeks.

They are talking like I'm to stay off work 6 weeks, then plan for surgery.After I taper off the pred. I have already used 2 weeks of the fmla, now I use 6 more and I assume at leat another 6 for the surgery, I'm past the the time aloud. Worried about losing job, and my health insurance.

What is a single, self supporting,9.00 and hour stna supposed to do to make it? I'm am so freakin depressed.

I have an appt with GI tomorrow. I'm not real enthused about it ,don't really care forthis new group. Lost my GI in the divorce and bankruptcy proceedings! Amazing the things you lose that you never considered. I would feel so much better about this if I had my old GI. But it is what it is so I'll move on!

I saw the NP in the hospital a couple times. She was a smart arse and I hope I don't have to see her again. I will report back after my appt. tomorrow. Wish me luck!

What a time to be off work, in pain, nad have to deal with peeps who can't understand why you need papers filled out so you have some kind of income, like what's the rush? grrrr

Good to see you Cleo, but sorry your having all this trouble. Hope you can get your surgery before next year and this time it works better for you..

OK .... i KNOW things are a little fuzzy comin off the morphine, but gett this... I have my discharge papers telling me to make appt. with a Dr. Kamel. no number soI look in the phone book. Only one so must be him. I drive a freakin hour to find this place and guess what.... I bet you see this coming. WRONG DR. argh...

I call the medical DR. I ask if papers are filled out for my insurance . NO they are still on her desk. I break down and cry like a baby, I have bills to pay, it's Christmas, can someome please give me a break? I'll give her the message. Gee thanks a bunch.

ThinkI should just go backto bed.
