I am having my first Remicade infusion on Monday and was wondering if they will give it to me if I have a yeast infection.

Have you started treating the yeast infection yet? I would think if you already started treatment you should be okay. Can you contact your doctors on call service and ask them? Good luck!

My treatment is first thing Monday morning so I won't be able to contact the doctor beforehand.
I will however have 4 days of a 7 day treatment under my belt by then.

I'm sure they will give you your remicade. In fact, I wouldn't even mention the yeast infection if I were you. I took remicade for 6+ years and they are only really worried about
severe infections that cause you to have a fever over 100.4 degrees and could cause serious health problems. A yeast infection won't even be on their radar. Good luck!

Thanks for the advise. I was seriously considering not mentioning it. I figured with 4 out of 7 days of treatment completed I would be ok.
