Help on crohns..

Ok, so i have crohns and constipation... While i have metamucil it helps a little, i recently had a blood test and it says that my crohns isnt "active".... yet i am still always constipated? Is it meant to work like that, what actually happens when crohns is active?

I have had Crohns for almost 35 years and I suffer with more c than d. I take stool softners nightly in order to keep things soft and easier to pass. I happen to have what they call the stricturing type of Crohns. I have already had two resections due to blockages. For me when or if I flare is generally a sign that I have developed another stricture. Not sure if that is the same for everyone who suffers with C, but that is what it does to me. Good luck!

i have had crohns for about 8 years and have only ever had soft watery stools
