For the past year I have had the worst leaky butt ever! about
once a week I wake up with wet spots in my undies! Its not poop but yellowish stuff with verl little oder. I cant walk around anywhere for longer that an hour without having to stop at a restroom and clean my leaking butt of this yellowish discharge. Why why why??? We have enough symptoms without dealing with behind leakage! Is there any meds that stop this!?

What did your GI tell you about
this? I would assume that maybe you've got some proctitis issues going on (inflammation of the rectom) and if so then rectal meds are a must. You really should talk with your doc about
this issue though, he/she should have an answer and likely be able to help treat this depending on exactly what it's stemming from...if you're GI isn't able to help then to me that's a red flag to find a new one.

I have had exactly the same problem, it can last for weeks, and then it's gone. Untill next time. So embarassing....I have Crohns in my distal jejunum, so the explanation on this being proctitis can't be the case with me. Anyone else had this kind of leaking?

Yes I've had that on and off over the years. Seems to go away on its own after a while...

For me these same happenings were the early signs of my current fistula.... it could be something different and it could change depending on the position at which it is manifest. But whatever the case may be i would definitely say get a definite answer asap. I also agree with pb4 its a red flag if your doc doesn't know whats up. Also get a second and possibly third opinion, as good as your doc probably is, when my fistula was figured out my first doc that i have been with for years said 'lets do surgery right away then start on some different meds'. buut then i went to a different doc and he said that if we do surgery first then there are wayyy more complications as apposed to meds first then maybe surgery if needed.
so I'm not saying your situation is the exact same and your treatment will be even similar, cause it probably wont. But it never hurts to get a second opinion on your health no matter how long you've been with your doc, heck that's why we're all on this forum to begin with!
good luck and keep us posted...

I've read good things about
vitamin E enemas for rectal problems. Maybe something like that would help.

I had exactly the same experience with a rectal fistula. It is helpful to soak in a tub at least twice a day to prevent infection. Your doc can confirm what it is by examining it. Sorry you have to go thru this. Hang in there.
