cut up tongue and odd gum issues

I always had that "swollen tongue" feeling when I was low on B12.  Now all of a sudden I am getting a cut up tongue too.  It seems like it may be related to the B12 as it has happened twice right before my shot.  The sides of my tongue hurt like they have paper cuts all over them and the edges are rough and swollen.  I also noticed what seemed like a cut in my back gum.  Then I noticed twice that I had what reacted like a pimple on my back gums.

is this how mouth issues start since I have not had them before? Or does anyone know if this could be something else?

I don't think I was dehydrated.  I did not eat any rough foods and I have not changed my meds in a very long time.  Any thoughts from those of you with the mouth issues?

I too have throat and mouth and tongue issues, my throat gets so swollen deepdown in my throat not like a sore throat would be, I've choked to many times on food to count now i get cankers sores really bad and my tongue get leasions on it the taste buds get really swollen and the sides of my tongue are sw3ollen. the only thing that helped was prednisone. but now I'm on imuran also. but also my resection area is flaring alittle bit. I'm currently on state disability for my cd. and am applying for ssdi on wed. tommorrow. i to have a hard time talking while this is flaring and eating
