Yeah, so today and I think I had this a few days ago as well.
Swollen ankles.
What the heck is that all about
?
I am a bit worried. Last time my feet were swollen was a year ago - I was alergic to Cipro - and my god that was NOT FUN.
I could barely walk. My shoes didn't fit and yikees! it hurt like hell.
However, it seems to be just my ankles that are swollen right now.
What does this mean?
I haven't taken anything new as far as medications go.
I am very puzzled.
I have been very tired and thirsty these days, however my hemagloben [?] blood work is at like 79 which is very low.
Whatda think?

yeah well i thought it would get me some attention - all smiles - much lacking in that catagory - in need of a bit of spice in my life! but not the kind you eat - no - that wouldn't be any good at all. Glad to have put a smile on your face. Cheers.

Oh an nope - no pred - all for meds for me is just the remi & the Imarun.
Maybe I just need to do more walking?
Why do your feet or lower extrimities swell anyhow?
I had swollen feet awhile back when i was on fertility medication in 2006. The doctors told me to keep my feet elavated and go for short walks.
I will or can do that - I just want to know why the hell this is happening to me. I guess the only one that can tell me that is my doctor.
Oh well, it was worth a try...

maybe water retention or gout, if you are feeling thirsty etc.I know some meds have that effect on people, I sometimes get it when on prednisone but if you are not on the preds maybe call you doctor for a blood screening as well.

Wehn I was super flairing last spring/winter that happened to me. I was not on any meds as we were trying to clean out my system. And basically my doc told me that I was having a protien deficiency because I was not eating anything but toast and crackers. It was really painful and not fun at all, but it did go away ;o)
