Well it caught up with me last night and i have been pooping since 2:30 am! Lol
As much as I hate to say it, overall, coffee is bad news for Crohnies and we shouldn't be drinking it. And I know, I'm a hypocrite - I'm drinking a cup of coffee as I write this. Fortunately for me, I'm in remission at the moment, a fact I attribute to my use of lingzhi. You can read more about
that here:

Google the words "coffee irritant colon" or "coffee diarrhea" and you'll find plenty of negative comments.
If you're going to drink coffee, a few tips...
Instant coffee is the worst. Instant decaf is really no better. Grinding your own coffee beans is best. Different coffees seem to be less upsetting than others - my best results have been with Mandehling and expresso beans. I like Blue Mountain but found it to be too strong, but you've got to do your own tests to see what works for you.
Definitely put milk in the coffee - it protects the stomach lining. I can't tolerate cow's milk too well, I use goat's milk.
I sweeten with stevia and thus avoid sugar.
Be prepared to give up coffee if your condition worsens. I've had to give up coffee several times in the past.
best regards,
Robert
