I totally get what you are saying, honestly I do that is why I am in two minds-common sense tells me that it can't possibly work BUT I have also seen the outcome of someone taking homeopathy so for me that has got to add up to something.MiL's claimes that she 'cured' are total rubbish but symptoms were dare I say it 'totally' allieviated. She doesn't take anything in tincture form it is all tablets.
Going back to the nut allergy theory though, if exposing people with severe nut allergies to minute quantities of nut enables a body to somehow kick start/moderate itself into not overreacting, so much so that once severly affected people can now actually eat nuts then there must be some method in the madness?

yes, but does exposing people with severe nut allergies to pure water does that too? if the answer is yes, then sure, homeopathy works :)

an open mind is a great thing, but make sure your brain doesnt fall out :)))

I don't honestly know what the ratio was-what I do know is that those most severly affected only have to be in the same room as nuts for an allergic reaction to happen so therefore I would assume that nuts were introduced in extremely minute particles-incidentally this was undertaken in hospitals with epipens at the ready :)
I think I am being open minded, I don't totally believe or dis-believe in it-I honestly don't know, what I can't get away from is the fact that I have actually phycially seen someone's condition improve dramatically whilst on them.

I hope you've been doing well on your ayurvedic medicines. I've been recently diagnosed with Cronh's disease. I would like to share my story.

I do yoga a lot. I've been doing yoga for the last 3 years. My stomach has been always sensitive. Eating fatty and junk food in the last couple of years made it worse and finally ended up with Crohn's disease. If I hadn't done yoga, the CD would have been worse. Yoga has definitely made my gut stronger. You have to do it for a long time to see the result. But, this disease has to be dealt at the cell level. That's why I've been on SCD diet. A lot of good probiotics and herbal supplements would definitely destroy the bad bacteria in the intestine and restore gut flora.

I have quit rice. It was a little difficult for me to give it up, since I had been eating it my whole life. Eating rice would feed bad bacteria in the gut and would make it impossible to break the vicious cycle.

I would like to add ayurvedic medicines as well. Can these Enemas be made at home? I would like to meet an ayurvedic doctor when I visit India.

Are u saying this after using it?? Or is just based on what the internet says??
I'm a regular user of homeopathic medicines and so is my dad who has IBD... What allopathy hasn't been able to do for him for the past 12-15 years, homeopathic has done, and so it is with me... Im not undermining allopathic, all i'm saying is that homo works wonderfully...
And what about the watery medicines?? I mean to say, my homeopathic doc gives me small rounded or square pellets and an occasional syrup...
