I currently take 400MG of Cimzia once a month.... My question is:

Do some people take 400MG of Cimzia twice a month?

I think I need to double my dosage...Does anybody take Humira at 2weeks (a full dose)??

My doctor wants me to take 200MG of Cimzia every two weeks....

I'm currently taken methotrexate and humira. I do 40mg injections every week. Was doing injections every other week and I had a flare up so we are now starting every week. The doctor wanted to originally put me on Cimzia but insurance wouldn't approve it.

After taking Cimzia once a month, Humira every other week, and remicade every 6 weeks...
i think I am going to stop taking TNF's all together. Even If further Crohn's TNF's come. Not worth it for me.

But there are some nice interleukin biologics comin' soon.

I'm taking Cimzia twice a month. My Rheumatologist had a couple of people at this dose for other issues and between both the Rheummy and the GI the fought the insurance company for me to get 2 doses a month. It is working quite well, I just hope it doesn't stop working (like Remicaide did) Oh, and both of my docs did not want me to just the 200 mg, they both thought the risk of antibodies and thereby lack of effectiveness would ensue. So I take 400mg twice a month. Just a thought to bring up with your docs...

I start today with 400 mg then in 2 weeks another 400 mg then week 4 400 mg - after that it is 400 mg once a month if all goes well - that will be the maintenance drug to hopefully keep me in remission.

Hmm I didn't know we could. I may bring this up with my doc if things don't settle down for me. I currently only do 400mg once a month.
