You can try the 100 calorie snack plan. Basically if you try to eat a 100 calorie snack every few hours, it isn't enough to curb your appetite when meal time rolls around but if you sneak in 5 or 6 snacks a day, you have added a whole meals worth of calories. a 100 calorie snack is only 1oz of cheese, 1 hard boiled egg, 1Tb of Peanut butter, a few crackers, a banana, 1/2 c of pudding (I'm going from memory cause my book is upstairs and I'm lazy right now) but you get the idea. It doesn't take much and really if you eat breakfast at 8, a banana at 10, you can still eat lunch at 12, and then have another snack at 2 then something at 4 and then dinner at 6..... over the course of a week it adds up.
But as the other poster said, your body is healing and it takes calories to do that, so give it time.
