Can climate affect crohn's?

    ok please hear me out... just got back from vacation in south florida where the weather was beautiful. 80-85 during the day 70's at night. My ankles, knees, hips, and back are always in agony, but for some reason when i was in florida with the warmer climate my ailments didnt bother me hardly at all. Now i reside in the south of the us, but not in that kind of tropical climate. Can climate change really affect how your body changes with this illness. Considering moving.....

There's been quite a bit of press lately about a possible relation between vitamin D and Crohn's.

I have been following this and i know i do feel better in warmer days sunnier days
i think there is a def link to the climate n what ails us but thats jmho

I think there is a link too, cos I was flaring the beginning of jan , and went to south africa ,where the weather was nice and sunny and warm, whilst I was there I felt brilliant the best I'd been in 4 years, I was on a higher dose of steroid too but when I got back my flare up started to get worse again.

Yep when I moved to a more tropical climate I noticed immediately. Mine loves the sun.

Coming back to India from US helped me in controlling Crohn's....I think.

I find the weather affects my joint issues but really doesn't make a difference with me Crohnswise.

I've noticed a link between it. Sitting around on vacation, 90F and getting a tan. It might have something to do with less stress, who knows.

I've noticed being out of town on vacation and such I feel better and do better.
