I just wanted to share a pain relief method I've been using for a long time. This method works for anything that is relieved by relaxation (fissures, cramps, some headaches).
Here it is: tell yourself the pain feels good. I know that sounds incredibly psychotic/masochistic but it works for me. I just lay back and convince myself that the burning, stabbing or throbbing pain actually feels nice and I'm able to relax and make it better.
I actually have a name for this method: Beat the Devil.
I'm not going to write all the discalimers here, but use your common sense and go to the doctor for any new pain or increased severity. But I've avoided pain killers and stress using my method.
