Careful picking friends on forums....

While I have disagreed with some other Veterans here on a few issues, you guys are privy to a lot of stuff I don't even tell family. Makes you "friends" in my book! Bless you all, except scammers.. LOL

The easiest way for me to tell who is a spammer on here is to see if the majority of the posters are new and setting up the opportunity for the spammer to advertise their product. Then if I have suspicions I click on their recent posts(they usually only have a few total) and all of them will in some way be about the particular spam subject. I have no holdbacks about reporting these people and getting them off the site because this is one of the only places that many of us can talk freely without having any restraints about this disease. Most of the spammers have learned the terms and symptoms of our disease to sell their product as if they are one of us but they eventually out themselves.

Sadly, this has a long history way before the Web. Look at some ads for Arthritis cures & aids back in Mags in the 1970's. I wonder how these people live with themselves? Aside from the pure sociopaths of course...

I was really mess with her on that. But, seriously depending on the service 10-20% of the U.S. military is female. You think people would not get so locked into a gender roles in this day and age.
