remistart, anybody gone this way?

hey dawg, long time since i postewd with you, hope you're doing as well as expected, so did you hav3 to pay and then get reimbursed? or is it a copay when you get your treatment? the form I read it said if you meet cxertain criteria all you pay is $50 at the time of infusion, is that how it works? nice to hear from you, state disability wants me to see there dr. and ssdi sent me forms to fill out again on what my job duties were for the last 15 years, but I did what you told me and made copies of everything, so I sent that back, still waiting

I can't say I've been having very much luck with remistart.  They do cover all but $50, but that is just for the medication.  It does not cover the cost of the office visit or the cost of administering the drug or the benedryl they give before hand or the cost of administering the benedryl.  It does cover a lot, relativly speaking, but I am used to Humira and Cimzia's patient assistance programs that cover pretty much all of my out-of-pocket costs.  Not to mention, the staff I've spoken with have always been extremely unhelpful. 

My dose is being adjusted to the maximum this month, but if I don't see a change in my symptoms it's not going to be worth the trouble for me anymore.

I don't mean to be discouraging, I just haven't had the best experience with remistart. Good luck with whatever you do!

i just got approved.  they are basically going to be sending me a credit card for $2300 or so!!!!!

my bills are $13,000 a pop- ins gets billed 1/2 of that and then my max out of pocket for the year is $2500...
