Started Cimzia...

Well, I took my first round of Cimzia shots on Friday. Yesterday had a lot of leg pain, both of my legs where hurting really bad, didn't want to walk too much. I'm hoping this was just the weather (been storming here) and not the Cimzia doing it to me. Other than that I really didn't have any reaction. I'm so nervous cuz I had soooo much trouble with Remicade. I haven't noticed any difference in my CD yet, but too early to tell.
Just wanted to keep everyone updated.

I just had my 3rd series of cimizia, the first one i had in my stomach, and for 3 days after that i was naucious. The second round was in my stomach as well, except my injection sites swelled that night, the next day my stomach was swollen badly, went into an attack for 2 days. So I called the doc, they said injection site swelling can be common, and can increase symptoms for a period. They called back a few days later to check on my and told me they were going to do it in my legs this time. So i just had a little bit of tenderness around the injection sites, i iced them for 5 mins before the shots. Really no bad symptoms this time, just a slight solid feeling on my right side like i was gonna have an attack. I have been flaring for 2 months now, and I still am having bad diaahrea despite the meds, but im sure its cause the cimizi hasnt kicked in yet....hoping actually. I also have gained weight since i started it, let me know if u get the same. I really hope this works for us! I just like it becasue im not sitting in the doc office for 3 hours.
