A question for those who take VSL 3 sachets

Hi I have just picked up my first lot of VSL 3 It says to mix with water or a non fizzy drink but, doesnt say how much water. How much do you add? thanks so much. Bev x smilewinkgrin

My husband actually doesn't like taking it with water - it makes him cough a lung after doing that :-)

He instead takes it with about 8 oz of home made yogurt. He just stirs it in, and eats the yogurt.

But if he has to take it with water for whatever reason, he just stirs in into a cup - anywhere from 8 - 10 oz.

The amount of water won't affect the potency/effectiveness of the probiotic.

Keep in mind that those sachets have a filler that disagrees with some people (also not SCD legal). If you notice any issues, you might want to switch to the capsules which have no filler. Also no need to mix with anything--just swallow. We've used them successfully for over two years now.

Thanks to both of you for your replies didn't realise you can mix it with yougurt. I must say it tastes nasty with just water! thanks again Bev x

I apologize if this takes the thread on a tangent, but I don't know about VSL 3. Any opinions to share? I'm not using a probiotic right now.

I would definitely use the capsules. You will go through them faster than the packets but I think it's worth the cost,
