Hi MissCriss -- I had surgery at the beginning of April of this year as I had horrible strictures that were only getting worse. I was lucky to have mine done laproscopically, and only had to stay in the hospital for 4 days. I was fatigued for probably 3-4 weeks after surgery, which they told me was relatively normal. They said if I overdid it, I may be fatigued for up to 3 months -- so I tried to rest for the first couple of weeks. As for D, I'm about
8-9 weeks out now, and still trying to figure that one out. I was told it could take up to 6 months for the body to get used to the post-surgical state.. Although, I also had 2.5 feet of SI taken out. With regards to the D, I have found eating certain foods have really helped. I've been eating a lot of mashed potatoes, sandwiches and pasta, and have managed to get myself from 8 D's/day to maybe 1 or 2.. As for working out, they told me to wait 6-8 weeks, and lift no more than 10 lbs.. As for your final question, there wasn't a time limit, just when you felt fine enough to do so.
