Here are Ivy's tlc goals for today, because she's stressed and anxious and not really coping too well with life just now.

* do some exercise
* do some relaxation, rest or tai chi
* spend ten minutes starting to clean up my REVOLTING kitchen
* start making a list of my short-term and long-term stresses
* spend ten minutes starting to address one thing on the list
* start prepping a nutritious meal for myself - this is tiring, so I may have to do one stage today, and finish the rest tomorrow.


That's it for me. Anyone else?

I like this idea...though I have had some good days...today is not so good...
so my goals for tlc...
1. weed my backyard, so I can enjoy it, spend more time watching the birds, the butterflies, and loving my flowers...
2. continue with some moderate exercise...

Sounds fun, Becoming Undone. I wish it would get a little warmer here so I could start attacking our weeds too.

I went outside to get the Saturday newspaper ten minutes ago, and my hands are still blue and tingling... :-/

My goals today:

  • Get out an enjoy the sun, if it decides to show up!
  • Possibly a bike ride or walk with the kids.  I know I don't get enough exercise.  :)
  • Do the dishes that have piled up AGAIN!!!

Not too ambitious for today....it's Saturday.  :)

My goals for today are to try and get outside and enjoy my day a little. It is Father's Day tomorrow, and I want to feel good enough to celebrate my wonderful husband. Hopefully, my guts will behave today, and we can go out for that special dinner we have planned. I also need to walk some, as I need to keep trying to strengthen my knee area some before my knee surgery.

I am going to try to ride my exercise bike for at least 5 minutes today.

my goals are to continue getting out daily''i hv or started to become agoraphobic due to being deaf
but am getting out n feel great about it
...doing some gardening..
..finishing my laundry ..lots of it lol..YET never a dirty dish in sink..hmmm
...going out to shop by self to get some independance back

going to beach later today..we are only 15 minutes from port stanley...

im sure there is more will post again..

My goal today is to think good thoughts. I'm taking the day off, after caring for my grand boys for the last 3 days....

My goals are pretty much keep trying to not worry so much about my heart rate and what i feel. Physically my doctors tell me I can do it but take it slow.
Mentally i tell myself I cant. I Really want to keep practicing.

So far i see better improvements from time to time.

Physical therapy 6/21 starts at home.
Counceling/Social worker already started once a week. Not sure if it helped much.

want to keep thinking positive and TELLING MYSELF : I HAVENT BEEN TO THE ER SINCE I CAME HOME and IM ALOT HEALTHIER NOW.
Mentally i need to fix myself

Debilitated, keep up with your good thoughts. My son suffers from panic/anxiety disorders, and I watch him
suffer so badly during an attack. So the importance of good thoughts is huge. Take care.

debilitiated-was wondering how you were doing!

You all put me to shame today. What have I done, um, walked the dog and got tea. Needed to cut the grass but it has done nothing but rain! To do:- sort out the pile of paperwork re car insurance renewal, banking etc

Mission for son ;) Same as it has been for the past week to clear up all the school paperwork/revision sheets/test exams that has littered his bedroom floor for the past 3 weeks or so( I can live in hope) oh and to 'e' send a card to his dad for Father's Day tomorrow

My goals are:
. eat properly no skipping meals
.tidy up the garden
. go out to lunch with my two grown up son's
and tonight chill out with a good book!

Vixen - oi. No need for judgements or putting ourselves down here. You did enough: you ate, went out, got exercise. That's a lot. Truly.

I did everything on my list but didn't have much fun, felt like I was stuck on a treadmill, and made myself more tired by pushing too hard :-/. So... I'm going to have to rethink. It's a learning exercise, isn't it?

Claudine, I hope you do join in. It's no fun being the only tlcer in my time zone. I have nobody to talk to!!!

Debilitated, you're doing well. And do try not to worry about "fixing" yourself. Healing will come in time, and will probably come sooner if you don't push for it.
