Tomorrow is my kidney surgery, so I will be off the forums for a few days. Not sure at this point for how long, as I don't know if they will be able to do it laproscopically or open. So be good, and I will talk at you all again soon. Please do keep me in your prayers, I could use them.

I will be thinking of you and hope that all goes really well for you. I will be heading out on vacation at the end of the week so if you aren't back before I leave, please know that I will check in even if I am not posting just to see how you are doing. My husband is bringing his computer so he can work, but I want to keep tabs on my crohnie twin and make sure you are OK. I will be keeping everything crossed in the meantime.

I'm so glad you posted since I wasn't sure of the date. Of course my prayers and good thoughts are with you -- I know you'll do well. ((hugs))

(I saw in another thread that you got your hair done -- GREAT idea. A couple of weeks ago everyone laughed at me when I kept a pedicure appt. just before going to md since I thought I'd be admitted.

Nanners: I pray all goes well tomorrow for you and you are at peace through this process. You are always so upbeat, consistantly kind and caring -so great blessings to you and your family as you walk throgh this new event. (and IV starts on the first attempt!!!!!). Nanners-- my husband had a partial nephrectomy a year ago... it was open. USE a PILLOW at the incision side to help with walking.. made a huge difference...

This may be too late unless you do a final check in the morning! My thoughts are with you for the surgery, and for a speedy recovery. Hopefully they can do it the easier way, and the recovery time will be less. If not, then I am sure it was the best way, and you will feel so much better in the end. Take care, and take it easy on yourself.
