Just a small vent - So I was shopping tonight and on my way out of the store thought, "I better go to the bathroom just in case." I hate torturing myself on the ride home and I also know that on a Friday night the 3 mile drive can turn dreadfully long because of traffic. So... I took my 4 year old into the potty with me and... major attack! It was so bad that I actually couldn't leave. So, we camped out in the stall for about
40 minutes. I must have flushed at least 10 times and my stall had no hooks so I was trying to balance my purse and my shopping bag - both of which were a little too heavy for my little guy to help me hold. And of course, the bathroom which was empty when we entered, suddenly became Grand Central Station.
Sigh... but I survived and so did my kid. In fact, he was super sweet and didn't complain about how long I was taking. He made "tooting" noises with his mouth on his arm to make me laugh. I was so glad it was him who was with me because my 6 year old would have complained the whole time about how bad the smell was or that I was taking too long. I even texted my hubby to let him know I wasn't lost shopping, but delayed for a good reason. I finally got out of there and made it home only to continue the "attack" at home. I HATE when that happens when I'm "out and about".
UGH. Anyway, I made it. It could have been worse. I had entertaining company in the stall and I didn't drop anything on the floor. :) Thank heavens for small mercies.
